Bedroom, Naas

This is the upstairs bedroom of the Naas extension project. This has some nice features such as a wooden ceiling with downlights. These can be added easily to any room creating a better distribution of light than a single ceiling pendant and a nice alternative to plastered ceilings. A Velux was added to give more light to the long room. There is a fitted wardrobe built in with mirrored doors to reflect light back into the room. Another simple detail but worth noting is that all radiator pipes come straight from the wall instead of sticking up from the floor. For what is a little bit of extra work at the time, this allows for ease of vacuuming and works out more neatly for wooden floors or tiling.
