Smart Heating Technology

Best suited to new builds or total revamps, have you considered smart wiring to future proof your home? Smart wiring reduces bills! Adding more intelligence to your heating system allows for greater savings. Nest Learning Thermostat is an off the shelf example of one aspect of this smart technology but it has its limitations. Talk to us about a customised heating design option that best suits your needs. We use Loxone servers can cater for multi-zones and allow remote access from smart phones or laptops.

Smart Homes

Again, this is best suited to new builds or total revamps. Future-Proof your home with our design, central cabling and server packages. From mood lighting, to AV, to security and CCTV, to heating and more, all data is sent back to a central location that can be then controlled or checked by you from anywhere! Check from your phone app that the lights were all turned off when you left, or play music to the speakers in your living room from your laptop. All this technology readily exists individually but we have perfected putting it all together in one customised system, neatly installed to your specification.

Extensions/Attic Conversions

As well specialising in renovational work, Revamp has done extensions as well as new builds and re-builds. For those with no space to go out the side or back of the house and with a suitable attic space, why not convert your attic with minimum cost for that extra room.

Oil Burner - Servicing, Commissioning and Installation

An oil boiler of 15 years or older would typically have a maximum efficiency of less than 80% when new. It's present efficiency today, due to wear and tear is unlikely to be greater than 70%. The current range of condensing boilers available today will have efficiencies greater than 90%. This leads to an operational improvement in fuel efficiency resulting in a 20-25% saving per year in fuel. For a fill of 1000L, you essentially get the benefit of 250L extra. Studies have shown, a 3mm layer of soot on your boiler can further reduce efficiency by up to 8%, i.e up to 80L of oil wasted in a fill of 1000L. Using the most up to date equipment, Revamp can optimise your boiler to maximum efficiency and advise you on other aspects to help cut heating costs further. Government grants are available when upgrading your boiler and/or heating controls.

Property Maintenance

From pubs, shops, offices and everything in between, Revamp will take care of all the little jobs that have been adding up. We will work through snag lists, so you can concentrate on your own work.


Ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles laid. When tiling your bathroom, we firstly remove all bathroom ware. We then tile under and behind them before refitting ensuring the neatest possible finish. For kitchen splashbacks, we remove all sockets and switches before tiling, and then refix over the tiles. Some tilers tile around these leading to problems down the line if something needs to be removed.


Be it replacing your bathroom suite, adding an ensuite to your home, installing a shower or changing a washer on a leaking tap, Revamp can help!

Insurance Work

Dealing with a house claim after an accident can be quite stressful. Revamp guarantees trouble free repairs by getting in each tradeperson without delays ensuring the work is done as quickly and smoothly as possible. Also, as with all our jobs, there are free quotations.

Demolition and Site-Clearance.

As part of the team that Revamp has put together, we have access to experienced personnel in demolition. In the past, this has been used in conjunction with engineers for removal of extensive sections of walls during extensions. We have also taken down existing garages and extensions in place of larger extensions of our own or for other building contractors.


Construction using pressure treated softwood, hardwood or composite decking to meet clients needs. Revamp will construct a previously designed deck or design from scratch. We will incorporate any of your favourite features in to your deck such as lighting, benches, planter boxes, garden trellis, gazebos etc. As well as the extra space, a deck can also add value to your home.

Free-To-Air Satellite Installation and Flat screen TV's Mounted

With seemingly more and more bills coming through the door why not eliminate your tv bills forever with a once off cost of installing a free-to-air satellite. If you have bought your own and just want it installed, no problem! However, if you want Revamp to supply and install one for you, we will advise you of your options and get the the one to best meet your requirements, be it multi-room, HD etc.

Mounting a flat screen TV can sometimes be easier said than done. We have the tools and the expertise to ensure your TV goes up and stays up regardless of the type of wall!

Building Energy Rating (BER) Improvement Works

A BER is similar to the energy label for a household electrical appliance like your fridge. The label has a scale of A-G. A-rated homes are the most energy efficient and G the least efficient. From the 1st of January 2009, a BER certificate is compulsory for all homes being sold or rented. With the ever increasing cost of fuel and heating bills, it stands to reason that a better rated house will be worth more when it goes to sell. Whether it is for this reason, or as a home owner who is fed up of exorbitant heating bills, now is the time to improve your BER. Revamp is a registered contractor under the Home Energy Saving scheme. Contractor ID Number: 13197. This includes roof insulation and dry lining of walls. Where some other insulation contractors will leave you with secondary work to be completed yourself, i.e. skirting boards not fitted, painting to be done, curtain poles, radiators , coving etc, we leave the room back as it was except now dry-lined. There will be no "hidden costs".
